SMILES Consulting Inc (Satisfaction, Motivation, Innovating, Leadership, Excellence and Service) mission is to provide corporations /organizations /individuals, with the skills and know – how necessary in attaining / sustaining success in business. We provide services that support “start-up- business” as well as continued services that are geared towards the success of established businesses / projects.

Our History

SMILES was incorporated in 2007 to provide and implement the tools and professional services necessary to aid for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in their success. The formation of SMILES (Satisfaction, Motivation, Innovation, Leadership, Excellence, and Service) came about through a void that was noticed by its founding members, Maxine Brainey, Sharon Bradshaw, Laura Bonitto, and Shakira Clemetson, that both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations had difficulty fulfilling their business needs due to inefficient and ineffective systems. Ms. Brainey’s experience in creating user-friendly charge entry systems that increased hospitals’ revenues through improved coding systems, in addition to the combined experience of the other founding members, led to the formation of a professional team.


It is out of this blend of creative and professional thought that gave birth to SMILES.

    These areas are but not limited to:
  • System analysis and implementation
  • Access to grant funding in support of organization programs

  • Development of a Volunteer Program
  • Implementing sound fundraising programs with measurable results


SMILES services are offered through contracts, agreement for service including pay-as-you- go terms. Contracts are laid out for specific scope of service within a specific period of time. Contracts are written with the ability for continuous follow-up and addition of addendum for the duration of the organization’s need. SMILES is also a resource in connecting not-for-profits with referrals in other areas as the need is required, such as, accountants, and legal experts among other services.
